Experimenting with 3D Reconstructions

This morning, I saw this incredible reconstruction on Twitter and immediately wanted to try it with some of my 3D models of Neolithic public buildings from the Near East.  I spent an hour or so on it today quickly, and made only poor success.  Since then, I’ve learned that the inspiration is actually a plexiglass overlay over a photo, but I’m determined to figure out how to do it!
